Perhaps it would be best to cast a well-known actress as one who will have ties to the canvas and Elizabeth’s mom would be a perfect candidate to try to explain what really happened to Liz as a teen. Mills is the perfect age and type to play her mom, a character fans have been wanting to meet for the past 25 years. If GH really wants to make Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) back story about Elizabeth and not about Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and his late wife, perhaps we can finally meet Caroline Webber, Elizabeth’s mom.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Mills will begin airing on the ABC soap in late October. With Mills not being on contract at B&B, it seems to have freed her up to take on a new role at General Hospital that has yet to be announced.
